I always thought Chinese artists had a preferred palette and often used subdued colors.  After visiting China and seeing if for myself, I realized they were painting the landscape as it actually appears.  In the Chinese exhibitions, my citrus paintings with their bold color really stand out!  Below is a painting inspired by my trip to Zhujiajiao.
